Detective Muldoon goes looking for answers about what was happening to her. She knows that she can't trust anyone in the department--or she might end up in a institution . Her investigation kept leading her to similar stories with no living witnesses. Until now, her search leads her to a mental institution nicknamed Bedlam. Before she entered Rayburn it was the place that haunted her dreams. She gambles her career on the only person she believes can help her--a patient at Bedlam.

Mikku searches for her missing cat but only brings home something evil.

On the other side of the world, her friend, Cilla...posts and commentates on Van's folklore collections abroad. Strange things begin to occur on Van's end. Is it coincidence or something darker?
