Every step she took mud hugged her shoes, trying to slip in. Soft chirps came off the distant, soon followed by a lower more masculine chirp. A mating ritual, she was not surprised, being a scientist had it perks to wildlife, it was the wrong season for many animals and avian alike, but of course litsasurus had a different clock then everyone.
