Nick Morgan lives with chronic illness. One of his sisters, Julie, does as well. Nick has another sister as well. Her name is Daynah. They all are from Memphis. They all live in Raleigh. Nick also has to be the father figure to his two nieces because their father, who was Julie's fiancé, died shortly after Emerson, the younger daughter, was born. Nick has struggled a lot in his life.
