What the Avengers don't know about Nat is that in between The Red Room and SHIELD, she lived in Liverpool England and was the girlfriend of the lead guitarist of the band, Mucous Membrane. Natasha and John haven't seen or spoken to each other since the Newcastle incident, which traumatized all those involved. Even to this day, the fearless Black Widow refuses to take missions that are located in Newcastle. Though, while on a solo mission in New Orleans, they meet again and team up to face Papa Midnite and Red Skull. While working together, some old feelings resurface. Together they face the mistakes of the past and get to know the people they've become....and maybe fall in love with each other all over again. {In this, I'm using the "Avengers Assemble" version of Black Widow, and the "City of Demons"/"Justice League Dark" version of John Constantine.}

Waking up in my eight-year-old body is... bizarre. To say the least. I lie there for a second, my heart hammering in my chest, feeling like I've been crammed into a too-small suit.
