Dashiell is able to save her and bring her to Eirwen for treatment, but it's too late. The dragon blood had already mixed in with hers and a transfusion had taken place. Dani was no longer human. Three years pass in a place that is alien to Dani, when suddenly Rayne reappears. Now he must learn the truth about those three years he was absent in her life, but can telling the truth really make the situation better? I'll let you decide that.
