Hi. My name is Kira, I am eighteen years old and I am dying. Quite an intro I got going here, but I thought I would just get that part over with. So uh, I have something called ALST and that is basically an acronym for "short life expectancy, high suffering". It's so incredible hard to make people care about anything. People care so much about other things already, so why should they spend their time on listening to me and my thoughts? I have suffered, I have been in tremendous pain, yet I am happier than most people I meet. But how can that be? I guess you will have to listen in order to find out. Story inspired by Claire Wineland. Rest in peace, your words of wisedom are timeless.
