Norville Rogers went by the name 'Shaggy' and Shaggy was a very lonely child, who got a Great Dane, named Scoobert Doo, which he nicknamed Scoobert Doo, Scooby-Doo because he found the name 'Scoobert' weird. There's also this rich girl, named Daphne Blake and their families have been friends since Norville's dad and Daphne's dad were in High School at Coolsville High. This sporty kid, named Fredrick Jones was the only popular kid Norville was actually cool with, he didn't like anyone else reallyand this nerdy kid, named Velma Dinkly was friends with Daphne and was Norville's tutor. They all go to Coolsville Junior High.
