I was the unwanted one. The one that my family just wanted to throw away. The monster, the one they all hated. Why you ask? My eyes; the blood-red color reminded them of my hated uncle. They hated me for something I couldn't control. Except one person. One person in my family showed that he cared, despite my flaws. My big brother, Kaname, showed me all the love I wanted. I found a reason to stay. I wanted to be with him forever.... Until he betrayed me too. Lost and alone I fell into the hands of my uncle, Rido Kuran. Surely he'd treat me better than my parents, and brother. Or so I thought. My name is Akane Kuran and this is my story.
