Rose is a sheltered/homeschooled know-it-all from a tiny town in Tennessee. She's always been like that, she never was a bother, she helped her father around a lot, and she was bright and knew every answer to every question. She was also beautiful, of course she didn't know it. She had flawless, dewy skin with chestnut colored eyes, and wavy blond hair. All angelic features come from her mother who had left when Rose was five. She used to think that she didn't need a mother but lately memories occur in dreams more frequently. Growing up around her father, he hid her beauty from the world, but "business" takes them from an itty bitty town of 1,000 to a colossal city of 3 million. A grand city where she soon learns after she moves in that it is both light and darkness. There are only bad things to come once she meets Natalie and Cat. It is downhill from here. A long year of bad decisions and wrong choices. Rose's father, Toni, discovers that you can't keep her from the world forever... He probably should have though....
