Hwang Intak leaves South Korea to travel to the United States to dance at their best dance academy, Sway Academy. The academy is divided into three levels, he is placed in Level One, the highest class reserved for dancers who already move like professionals. Level One is managed by Lavender Blake, the quiet yet capable co-manager of the academy's top tier, working alongside her aunt, the head manager. Lavender is known for her calm authority and down-to-earth nature, guiding the most talented dancers without ever needing to raise her voice. Intak keeps to himself, closed off and distant, carrying more than just the pressure of being far from home. Lavender, though just as reserved, notices him. As a fairy, Taeyang lives in a hidden kingdom deep within the woods. Most of Taeyang's kind grow wings when they reach puberty. However, Taeyang's never grew. Now 20 years old, he's shunned by both family and friends. Taeyang watches sadly as the rest of his generation takes flight and chooses their mates while he's left on the ground, with no one to share his heart. Dismayed, Taeyang leaves the kingdom and goes elsewhere, hoping to find a wingless mate who will accept him. While on his search, Taeyang finds a fairy named Jiung who lost one of his wings during a battle. Taeyang isn't sure how he feels, but he instantly falls for Jiung.
