They strike a deal: he agrees to help her get her sister back, if she will help him escape prison. The Hermit has let her know that the king of the dead will trade a sacred soul for her sister’s soul. Only someone is sucking up all the souls around town. The clock is ticking. If Amelia can’t find a soul to trade, her sister will be resurrected into a new body, with no recollection of her old life. So Amelia is in a desperate race to catch a soul before her sister is lost forever.
