But when one took a closer look at all those people's lives, discoveries were made not so often about a tragic backstory but more about horrible acts. Kaeya knew this better than most, and he wouldn't be surprised to see anyone with power and money do whatever crossed their mind whenever they pleased. Because when they lived that kind of life they couldn't ever be content with the things they already had, always searching for ways to acquire more, or just to simply satisfy whatever urge they had. Even when it involved someone's death. *** Or: Veterinarian Kaeya, also a hitman who never fails to kill his target, meets detective Diluc, son to one of his clients and also the person in charge of finding the culprit of numerous unsolved murder cases.

This is my first fan fiction and this story is about Kaeluc. It will take many chapters. Diluc tries to get over his past and get along with his sworn brother once again even though he has many difficulties. Kaeya learned by his own mysterious ways that the abyss order is scheming something in liyue... Kaeya and Diluc will try to solve their questions about the abyss in their adventure to reach Liyue as well as get closer. Kaeya and Diluc will be alone for this trip.

Kaeya Alberich had been your average Mondstadt Knight. Because of his intelligence and usually correct wits, he had climbed high up the ranks in just a couple of short years and now sits above all his peers. However, even his title of the "top candidate for grandson-in-law" among elders in Mondstadt and the number of ladies attractive to him could not stop the nightmares from corrupting him. Diluc Ragnvindr had been your average happy rich boy. With his father of the owner of the most famous Dawn Winery, he often didn't trouble himself with money. Fulfilling his father's dream for him, he worked & trained hard and became Mondstadt's ever known youngest Cavalry Captain. The words he craved the most were his father's "Good job. Now, that's my son." It fueled his heart and filled him with a desire to please him, and to lead the Knights to victory. However, one night changed his life forever, and his opinion on the Knights. As we read on, more of the two's stories began clicking into place, a deep relationship hidden among it. Will the two push on and fight for their love, or deem it impossible to ever feel such a way for them again? One thing I want to be made very clear is that In the main canon of Genshin impact, the Chinese translation had them labeled as "sworn brothers" which is a gay love trope in china, but the English version changed them into adopted siblings. I'm going to stay true to the Chinese version and have them not be adopted siblings, but rather, Sworn brothers, in a way If you want to continue to argue that they are adopted siblings, go ahead, but read something else
