Marinette is the excitable and artistic daughter of the famed swordfighter, Tomoe Tsurugi. Kagami is the lonesome daughter of Paris' best bakers, Tom and Sabine Dupain Cheng. Both teens struggle with pressures only a parent can provide; Mari is expected to be rock hard, durable and unforgiving. Kagami is pushed to get out more, and make friends. They couldn't be more different, but when their paths cross, a miraculous plan to appease their nagging parents is born...

Spoiler alert Marinette is dating Adrien( not knowing he was a player) until she finds out that he is dating kagami at the same time. Kagami and Marinette become closer while planning how to confront Adrien.

Kagami Tsurugi, is a new student at Françoise Dupont Highschool. Everyone adores her, of course, she's a famous fencer. But not only do they adore her, they love her! Including Adrien and Marinette...

Kagami Tsurugi is the best fencer in the world. She also worked in the sports centre in Paris, employed by Armand D'argencourt to teach fencing lessons. Somehow, she balanced everything and still seemed to have everything put together exactly how she wanted it. Marinette is also more successful than she had hoped, owning her own fashion empire to rival Gabriel Agreste's. Hundreds of stores selling her designs had popped up around the globe and her name had quickly wormed inside every household and everyone knew who she was. They were both famous, and both committed to their passion. So much so, that it left almost no time for anything else. Fortunately, worlds often collide, and fashion and fencing meet.

To the knowledge of everyone, Bruce Wayne had only one biological child. But he actually had two. Damian Wayne had a twin, and if you had known her and was actually genuine with her, anyone could tell that she was the opposite of Damian. But alas, no one knew of her. Kagami and Marinette aren't that close- they're friendship is relatively new and there's still some unresolved tension. Kagami has just experienced heart break for the first time, and her mother's expectations are beginning to weigh on her. Marinette's duties are doing a similar number on her, and painful realizations have also left her heartbroken. They realize they can use each other as an excuse to flee from their troubling lives. In each other they find unexpected comfort, and soon they're closer than either could have expected.
