But when someone takes Hinata's place as Kageyama's wing spiker, it somehow hurts Hinata. Why does he feel this sudden pain in his heart when he sees Kageyama with someone else? Kageyama have been suppressing some feelings for a long time. Everytime that little orange head is around, there are butterflies in his stomach. He doesn't know what exactly the feeling is. He tries to stay away but can he? Let's find out.

Hinata and Kageyama have graduated from Highschool already. Ever since, Kageyama has felt a large hole missing in him.

As embarrassing and unlikely as it looks, I have to admit that I was always envious of him. How could I not be? It always amazed me as to how the scrawny ginger rose from among the garbage. The piles of mucilaginous and torn trash bags he leapt from transformed into a set of blank shoes, providing a canvas for not only the red stripes sewn onto them, but also him. Because that's what he was. Born from a canvas, just like an artwork. The most beautiful kind, mind you. Like those cozy and nostalgic animal illustrations. To be completely honest, I had no idea that this burning envy of mine would transform into something else. Because when Hinata did it again - that elegant yet ravenous leap filled with a determination to win, I knew I didn't feel envy anymore. I knew that this was something else... So this is where Kageyama has a crush on hinata and he thinks hinata likes him back. but turns out hinata likes Kenma and Kenma likes him back. He was kind of friends with kenma because hinata was. I got this idea from the POV of @crowpika on TikTok. And also credit to one of @arysmovingcastle video on TikTok for also help me on this. I don't own Haikyuu this is a made up story and I don't own the art. All the credits go to the creator.
