She steps even closer, and Kai's heart jumps. "I'm asking you to stay." - This is basically what I imagine happening when David finally has his brain surgery (with some Kaimelia of course) I hope you enjoy! <3

As Frozen ended for the fourth time that day, Scout let out a whimper and curled himself further into Kai. They rubbed gentle circles on his back before telling him that it was time to head up to bed. When they went to pick him up to carry him upstairs, Scout screamed in pain and they suddenly noticed how warm his little body felt and grabbed the thermometer to check his temperature again. "Shit," they muttered as the thermometer beeped, alerting them of his rising fever. "102.3? How did I not realize it was getting this high?"

They did it. Amelia is exhausted and could sleep for days but at this moment her entire body is on fire and she gets it. She gets what Kai meant when they said once you find that thing you weren't even sure was possible, it's all worth it. - My version of the moment in 18x07 where Kai and Amelia find out they finally met the FDA regulations for their cells.
