Why did he choose her?

Mengisahkan Kang Taehyun merupakan seorang remaja lelaki yang mempunyai kebahagiaan hidup di sisi gelapnya apabila ibu bapanya bergaduh atas sebab masalah kewangan dan masalah ekonomi hidup. Hidupnya bagaikan penjara apabila orang sekeliling di sekolahnya memandang serong dan menghinanya seperti sampah hanya kerana masalah keluarganya. Sehingga apabila hadirnya seorang gadis yang bernama Shin Saetbyeol yang ingin mahu berkawan dan menolong jejaka itu untuk menerangkan cahaya hidupnya yang dipenuhi kegelapan, Taehyun berasa sedikit bersemangat untuk meneruskan hidupnya walaupun dipenuhi pelbagai rintangan hidup yang perlu dia lalui. Namun disebabkan ayah Shin Saetbyeol mempunyai sikap yang sangat tegas dan tidak menerima jejaka atas sebab masalah hidup jejaka itu, Shin Saetbyeol telah membuat keputusan untuk memutuskan hubungannya dan memberi harapan palsu pada Taehyun menyebabkan jejaka itu bertindak liar dan agresif dengan membawa identiti baru di mana dia telah mengubah dirinya yang dulunya innocent kini berubah menjadi badboy untuk menunjukkan dirinya yang sebenar. Sejak dari itu hidup jejaka itu kembali gelap apabila gadis itu memberi harapan palsu dan curang terhadapnya setelah dia mengetahui gadis itu tunangan orang sehingga satu masa taehyun juga ingin membalas dendam kepada gadis itu.
