Sae Itoshi makes one mistake.
One.
Across Europe, Michael Kaiser immediately takes that personally.
The problem isn't that Kaiser wants to beat Yoichi (it is though).
The problem is that he wants to know why Sae Itoshi-a midfielder who barely respects anyone-would praise him in the first place.
The solution, obviously, is to follow Sae across multiple countries, appear at suspiciously convenient tournaments, and engage in increasingly bizarre attempts to earn his approval.
Meanwhile, Sae Itoshi continues to exist with all the emotional responsiveness of a brick wall, Rin Itoshi is one bad day away from committing murder, and Isagi is desperately trying to understand how he accidentally became the catalyst for an international football crisis.
Or:
A story featuring football, emotional repression, questionable life choices, and one striker's increasingly desperate quest for validation.
Or maybe a boyfriend.
