But it's not only the tragic news of Kaito Kuroba passing away. It's also the reveal he'd been the Phantom thief all along. How will they react? How would it impact their lives and... Written as part of the Poirot Cafe's 15th theme contest for Detective Conan/Magic Kaito fanfic. The theme was AU, and I used the optional prompt of role swap. This is a stand alone short story.
