A story about Kaito Kuroba who is in mad in love with his childhood friend, (Y/n) (L/n). But for some reasons, he has to confess his feelings toward the girl through his alter ego, Kaitou Kid and have to get through the consequence from it and he is ready to protect her. ... Kaito Kuroba, or more known for his alter ego as the infamous Kaitou Kid, does more than steal gems. Since after all Kaitou Kid is simply a means to an ends for his true mission: taking down the syndicate that stole his father's life. So he also also pursue any other leads while out of the white costume, either to take a small step forward or a setback need fixing. So imagine that one day, he found a huge lead that could give a huge step forward for his mission, something that will finally avenge his father, or a huge setback, one that might or might not result his downfall, maybe not only as Kaitou Kid but as himself Kaito Kuroba. Mostly a story of many revelations, misunderstandings, dancing around and never ending issues.

The night is upon us and two phantom thieves will cross time and space to meet in an adventure. Kaitou Kid, the master of magic and man of many talents. Kaitou Joker, the eternal prankster with a power of miracles on his side. They will cross paths after a rich man Suzuki Jirokichi announced displaying gorgeous gem named Butterly's Heart inside of Babylonian Skyscraper. This old man will do anything to stop Kaitou Kid from succeeding, tho not paying much attention to Joker. However, the second thief isn't one to be trifled with either. Kaito Kuroba normally had a very good relationship with Lady Luck, but of course he'd always known that she would leave him hanging someday. There was simply no one who could avoid having bad luck at least once. Seeing as he was also a wanted man who got into all kinds of sticky situations and out of every single one of them, relatively unharmed nonetheless, one could deem him way luckier than the average person. A drabble series of the Pairing Shinkai (not Kaishin) in which Shinichi didn't shrink because he didn't follow Gin and Vodka and Shinichi and Kaito are Childhood friends. Alternatively, you can also say that Kaito is a cute, sweet candy and everyone wants a piece of him. But Shinichi is damned protective of his magician and has to keep him out of trouble most of the time.

Now people would think Kaito would do magic shows to earn his money for the heist ~ and it's true ~ but Kaito didn't just do magic shows. There was one job, that he did and really liked to do... He worked at a maid cafe. As a Maid. But to keep those who know him from finding out, this cafe was located far from his home, somewhere in Beika. It was there, that he went by the name Shiroki Kai, but everyone just calls him Kai-chan. He loved the job, with its kind friendly staff, the extra deserts he gets to munch on and the pay was perfect. He didn't want to lose this job (not that there was a chance of it) or leave it. But Lady Luck seemed to think otherwise when the un-shrunken Detective of the East pops up and starts flirting with him. (Edited the cover myself, but the artwork does not belong to me.)

Shinichi never had any trouble in solving mysteries, but there are two that he has yet to solve. What is this mist that seems to follow him around, and just happens to know who is the murderer and how the victim was killed? And lastly, what is Kaitou KID? Human? No.
