Lorena is torn between two worlds: her strange new abilities bring her to Atlantis, but her mannerisms and lack of magical aptitude mark her apart from everyone there, and those same new abilities prevent her from continuing her life in San Diego as normal. Kaldur'ahm is torn between two duties: his duty to Atlantis, his home, and his king, and his duty to his new friends and team of heroes that rely on him for leadership. Only Lorena and Kaldur really understand each other's plight. They're really the only people who will listen to each other. Lorena teaches him about his new home in the surface world, and Kaldur teaches her about her new life in Atlantis, and they both stick up for each other. Lorena is finally able to join Kaldur's team, and she's ecstatic, at least until she is approached by Ocean Master, who offers to help her discover more about her powers.

Most of the Team were never under his leadership before going undercover, so earning their trust is the up most importance. As Kaldur earns the trust of the younger members more problems are starting to creep to the surface, and Kaldur's girlfriend, Jasmine Karr, is started to see all the weight that's starting to bear down on the young Atlantian. It's one night when Kaldur wakes up from one of his nightmares and is thinking of doing something that could put an end to everything, Jasmine reveals something big to Kaldur, and it may be the thing to help see that not everything is in--- Ruins. As long as I can remember I have always been able to see the future. All of the futures. Every surprise, every event, every sad thing, nothing could ever shock me because I could see everything coming. Until him. He wasn't like everyone else from the moment that I met him he surprised me everything he does is entirely new. And it is wonderful and exciting and terrifying all at once. I just would have to get used to the fact that he was... Unseeable.

Though she tried her best to keep people at arms length, her heart simply couldn't stop her from letting people get too close. It had happened many times, and each time she got others hurt because of it. After her friends all split up, she threw herself into training and studies, going from Genin to ANBU ranks in just a few months. But it all came crashing down when she once again failed to keep people at a distance. She had lowered her walls and let someone close, believing him to be truly kind and loving. But he betrayed her, and sent her away to a new world until his boss had a plan to use her and her powers. When she woke up in this new world, things didn't exactly work out smoothly. Between the superheros, a new language entirely, and a concerning lack of chakra, Nora found herself struggling to adapt and even survive. One of the heros extended an offer, both to help her find a place in this unfamiliar land, and to keep an eye on her and her confusing abilities. Nora ended up on the Young Justice Team, comprised of two well trained young humans, a martian, a Kryptonian clone, a metahuman speedster, and an atlantean. She didn't exactly fit in, but she was a noble and loyal shinobi. So she stayed without complaint. Not that many people would be able to understand her if she did complain. And once again, she's thrown into the fight to keep the people closest to her safe and protected, but also at a considerable distance. And its not a fight easily won.
