ConnorxOCxM'gann KaldurxOC Two children of villains, a shapeshifting cat, and an orphan walk into a Gotham City bar... only to get thrown out because they're underage. Unfortunate circumstances bring these four children together to form their own family. One would think being raised by two Villainesses turned Anti-Heroines, and a dormant eco-terrorist would be dysfunctional well, they're wrong. Mostly. Sort of. A little. They function just fine. When a chance encounter leads one of the children into a dangerous situation, they become torn. With support from the family, a decision that impacts everyone is made. One thing leads to another, and two of the four children end up helping spring a clone of Superman from a secret government facility called Cadmus. And just like the myth, this encounter sews the future of these teens in more ways than they realize. The Light and every villain in its employ wants Kaldur'ahm- dead or alive. He was the only person in fifty thousand years to even hinder Vandal Savage's plans for the advancement of the human race, and no good deed goes unpunished. The Justice League places Aqualad in hiding with a little bit of backup from his ex-girlfriend, Nightingale. The daughter of the Bat has her own reasons for wanting to get away from the hero gig for a while, and her mixed-up feelings for Kaldur are not one of them. Northern Canada's short summer immediately turns into winter, and the Light doesn't appear to be letting up. They may be hiding, but when the people of the Cree town that has made Kaldur and Emma feel at home start to disappear, Aqualad and Nightingale are loathe to sit back and let it pass, but what they find in the reclusive town of Angelsport will be more than they bargained for.
