Yuu's POV: The weird cat's angry blabbering stop in an instant as the sound of clock alarm goes off and it's loud, seeming to bounce off the wall which makes it even more louder. I covered my ears and looked at the direction where the noise came from. A coffin a few rows down, its lid seems to shuffle as a pair of white rabbit ears poke out to reveal a person with rabbit ears and a expression of panick. "Oh dear, oh dear-" They look around rapidly, "Empty? Am I early?... Am I late?! Oh me.., oh my!" They get out of their coffin and look in a few coffins, without even noticing me- wait! they're wearing the same robe! they must know where we are!... maybe? "Excuse me.., uuh rabbit sir? ma'am?" I attempt to grab their attention, they don't bat an eye. They continue to check coffin, "Empty.., empty.., empty! they're all empty!" Their stress levels seem to get 10 times higher as they look at their cartoonishly large pocket watch. "I'm late, I'm late, I'm absolutely LATE!!!! Oh the Queen, The Queen! She would've had my head off for such a foolish mistake!!!" They sob loudly and in much more panick, "Excuse me! I-" "I'M LATE, I'M LATE!!!" They rush out in a frantic way. There was no changing what happened. Jamil knew that for sure. But yet in the final moments he spent reminicing exactly what he couldn't change, Jamil couldn't help but wonder what these feelings truly were. Why did he feel so strongly for someone he swore he didn't truly care about? Why did these tears flow so easily? Why, why was this the way it had to end up? Post-Overblot AU where the ending is... very different from what actually happened. We all wish for a happy ending, but oh, what a twisted world this is. Started: 14th November 2025 Finished: 14th November 2025 So many other things I could have done tonight. So many things I needed to do, but oh well. Here's some Jammy angst because... I felt like it! Okay in all seriousness I love Jamil so much. I don't condone his actions, but at the same time they were what were right in his mind to be able to escape the life that he had been trapped into, as messed up as they actually were, it was a breaking point and lack of care to a point of negligence as to consequences because he was sure it would work. But Kalim was also not in the wrong, he didn't know, and he couldn't be expected to know because of the way he was raised, he knew no better. They're both so doomed and I love them so much, I really hope we get to see more of them soon, especially after the situations in book 7/7.5 ANYWAY I hope you enjoy this! This was surprisingly fun to write, it's been a while since I've written someone going bye bye, so it was definitely an unusual feeling, but writing mainly in Jamils POV made it a lot easier :) LAST NOTE [I know this is long, I'm sorry, I'm a yapper] Please remember that Vil is pre-overblot in this!
