The bastard killed his mother and pokemon and left him alone with Greninja, Snorlax, Venasaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pidgeot, Sceptile, Lucario, Infernape, Lycanroc and his trusty Pikachu. He is forced to attend a high school by Professor Oak and Charles Goodshow. Can you believe it! Him - The World Champion - being forced to attend High School! - of all places. And guess what?
