Written 3 years ago on September 6. Remember that episode with the wall going down between Maine and Alden? This was my take on it.

INTRODUCTION Albert and Melanie had a "not-so-nice" start as friends. Melanie is the new "nerd" girl and Albert is the quiet boy but feared by most of the pupil population. Albert saved Melanie from being bullied by some pupils. Since then, they became friends. But Albert suddenly had to leave Melanie for his family's sake. Melanie was left with a promise that Albert will come back to him. Seven years have passed. No Albert returned to Melanie. Melanie is now a successful chef and is now managing her own business. What will happen if all of a sudden, out of nowhere, Albert appears in front of her? Will she get mad? Will she leave? Will she accept her back? --- A/N This if my first try in writing stories, specially a love story. So please bear with me. Since I work as a school teacher, please don't be mad for slow updates. It was slowly becoming a routine for her to put on a smile, ignore the hurt, and pretend she was ok. She was so tired of feeling disappointed, because when it came down to the truth, wala naman syang karapatan in the first place diba? If only for a while she wished her heart could temporarily forget him.

What goes on inside their head as they're performing on-screen, and what is their assessment of the things happening off-screen? I'm sharing my perspective on things. It is fanfiction revolving around the Aldub storyline. Hopefully, it shows you the internal struggles that the characters undergo. I am following the sequence of the Aldub segment as it progresses, but giving it a fictional behind the scenes look into what's going on in the thoughts and interpersonal interactions of Maine and Alden. This story was my entry for AlDub/MaiChard Authors Convention 2 (AMACon2), which was launched last June 16, 2016. For those who were not able to read my entry, I'm sharing it here, hopefully with the sequel also to be shared with you soon.
