ARC 1 (COMPLETED) ARC 2 (COMPLETED) Izuku Midoriya was getting fed up. Fed up with what, you may ask? Fed up with the endless flirting. No matter how many times he'd tell people he wasn't interested, they'd keep trying. One day, he was quite literally running from those exact people, when he stumbled into Denki Kaminari's dorm room. They end up talking about Izuku's current situation and Kaminari offers a solution. Fake dating. Izuku hesitantly agrees, just wanting to put a stop, or at least an obstacle, to all the relentless flirting and harassment. What happens when it stops feeling fake? Especially when Kaminari seems to be keeping more secrets than he can afford. Excerpt👇👇 "Honestly, with the detemination both of them seem to have, I don't think they'll give up until you finally start dating someone else or them." Kaminari joked. But he wasn't wrong. Izuku dragged his hands through his hair in exasperation. "I know that! But I don't want to date anyone right now, there's just to much going on to add dating on top of it." He whined. "Why don't you just fake-date someone?" Kaminari suggested. He was honestly just worried for the green haired boy's safety at this point. "But who would even agree to that?" He asked back. Kaminari thought for a moment. Then he shrugged and said, "I would."

Izuku didnt have the best life, but that made *her* more determined to help others. Being a late bloomer didn't help at first, but as life went on, *she* learned to live without a quirk. Overall, it helped *her* evade jail as most laws revolve around quirks. All *she* wanted was to be the hero that *she* needed, but if no one will give *her* a chance, *she'll* just have to start by making a name for *herself!* Maybe eventually she will be able to reveal *herself* as who she really is. I do not own MHA/BNHA or any of the characters! This is in fact a fan fiction and will not entirely follow the plot of MHA/BNHA!

Midoriya Izuku is the name of a Hero who was immortalized by his death. He and lover were heading to a movie theater when they were attacked out of no where. Caught off guard Kaminari Denki is almost killed but is saved. He lives. The same can not be said for Izuku.

Fake dating story, Kaminari is going home for winter holidays and he wants to bring his significant other. The only problem is that he doesn't actually HAVE a significant other so his solution was to bring one of the worst liars he knows and hope nothing goes wrong. And nothing DOES go wrong, unless unintentionally falling in love is a bad thing.

Something has been different in Class 1-A lately. The nerdy cup of cheer known as Midoriya 'Deku' Izuku has been wearing a medical mask to class. No one is entirely sure why, as he won't say more than "I'm fine", or "It's just a cough", even when it clearly is more than that. At least, Kaminari Denki thinks so. Kaminari has been crushing on Midoriya for quite a while now. Recently, he's been planning to confess. Mostly to try and cheer the boy up, as he's seemed quite down recently. But, Kaminari is racked with self-doubt. He's not sure if he actually is going to end up confessing. What if they don't like him? Meanwhile, Midoriya is hiding the severity of his condition from everyone. He doesn't want them to know. He doesn't want them to worry. Most of them aren't very concerned, but a few are. He claims it's just a cough. Says it'll pass eventually. Pretends he isn't coughing up bloodied petals. Pretends he doesn't have feelings for a certain someone. After all, there was no way they liked him back, right? "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal." - An Irish headstone Hey! CiCi, the author, is here! So, this is a Kamideku fic. There will be manga spoilers, as this takes place during the three-month time skip we saw not too long ago in the manga, after the Meta Liberation Army Arc. This is very non-canonical. If you can't tell, this has got a whole lot of angst as well as some of that good old Hanahaki disease. Also, I'm heavily messing around with how exactly Hanahaki works, cause, like, quirks, yeah? So, the PoV switches each chapter, therefore some chapters will be significantly shorter than others, and some will be a whole lot longer. For example- the first few chapters are significantly shorter than some of the later ones. This is my first time truly writing a ship fic, or even really writing out the whole story of any fic, so, uh, yeah. Enjoy the story!
