Nanami Momozono is a highschool girl who just wants to survive in life. Ontop of dealing with her gambling father's debt, she get's kicked out of her house and is forced to live on the streets. While she was helping a man who was trapped ontop of a tree by a dog, a girl that looked to be her age popped out of the ground from under the tree. She was pale with light pink hair and bright red eyes but that isn't the weirdest trait she has. She also has wolf ears and a fluffy wolf tail and she seems to have lost her memories. The only thing she remembers is a name. "I'm Nanami Momozono, do you remember your name?" "Y-yes...I-I'm Okari Inu" And this is where the chaotic story starts... Eloise was surprised by the appearance of the Shrine, with a kind heart, she visited the Shrine everyday to clean its quarters- making it spotless. She felt at home with the Shrine. Unknown to its residents. When Eloise helps a man escape from a dog, he gives her a kiss on the forehead and tells her about the Shrine that he owns, and as a symbol of gratitude, he lets her stay there. Eloise was grateful to not live her life as, "The Mountain Spirit", as some people would call her, and agrees to it. But what Eloise didn't know was that there lived a Fox Spirit that held a mysterious past and seems to be connected.

Yoko, the first familiar of Mikage and the senior of Tomoe. She is a nine-tailed kitsune who was once a wild Yokai. A once wild Yokai became the most wanted familiar for all the gods. Later, she adopts a fox Yokai naming her as Tsukine Tsuki-hoshi. Twenty years has passed since Mikage left the three to watch the shrine. That was when they have a new Land Goddess, Momozono Nanami. Yoko and Tsuki-hoshi were willing to become her familiars, but Tomoe will only serve Mikage. That was when they're adventure starts after the new Land Goddess shows up.

Now nanami's running away from everything and everyone, will tomoe be able to get her back maybe he will maybe he won't. It gets even more complicated when they find a clue about nanami's past. While being chased by her pursuer, she ends up getting handed off to a demon which insures her death, but instead he saves her and himself. We pick up in present day where she has to struggle to try and live but she ends up meeting a friendly young woman who helps her, but the danger isn't completely gone. Hotaru still has to worry about losing her life.

Nanami finds a lead to turning Tomoe human, and rushes out of the shrine with out informing either of her familiars. The story takes place after the second season and kako-hen, so there may be a few spoilers if you aren't up to date with the manga and anime. (I'll be ignoring a few of the more recent manga chapters to keep the plot from becoming too messy.) This is my first ever fan fiction, the only reason I'm writing one is because I'm so sick of the lack of proper grammar in every Kamisama Kiss fan fiction I've found. The plots for most of them are awful too, not that mine will be any better, but I'm actually educated enough to spell shit properly and know how to punctuate.
