{premonition of the eventuality}
-----
He clears his throat, and the girl raises her head to look at him for the first time; their eyes meet for a moment and the young master can see the dark emptiness in them before looking away again. She does not care, nobody ever does.
"I didn't want this."
That is the sentence he decides to say; he might as well be truthful instead of toying around with the idea of this being a pleasant experience. He watches the girl for any form of reaction, and she does not give him one, to his surprise. She pulls out a small journal from her side and flips the pages open, with a pencil in her right-hand teetering above the edge of the paper. She bites her lip before touching the lead to the paper.
(I feel the same.)
Four words was the confirmation he needed; he nodded his head and turned away again, tilting it upwards to watch the clouds go by.

a girl who can't speak and a boy who speaks too much cross paths at a young age. she has no family, no friends, and no one she can turn to, so she goes to the boy who doesn't know how to share himself.
