Zaayd Hamdan, lelaki yang tidak suka akan hiruk pikuk dunia di bandar. Dia sukakan ketenangan. Dia juga bukan lelaki yang memegang jawatan CEO atau sebagainya. Dia cuma lelaki biasa yang bekerja di kampung dan ke mana-mana selalu bersama motorsikal datuknya. Maryam Radina, gadis yang mulutnya tak pernah berhenti bercakap. Hobinya bercakap. In 1958 Singapore, in a kampung house festering with jinns, five-year-old Safiyyah only sees "friends". But one night, her father's muffled screams echo from beneath the floorboards.
