kananezu is generally so underrated and I can't find any good stories of it so I am going to write my own ♡

After Tanjiro and the others return from a mission, they stay at the Butterfly Mansion to recover. While helping take care of Tanjiro, Kanao meets Nezuko for the first time. Kanao immediately becomes curious about the adorable girl who keeps hiding inside her box. Instead of being scared of Nezuko, Kanao finds her cute and wants to spend more time with her. Since Nezuko can't talk normally, the two slowly learn how to communicate through gestures, expressions, and little sounds. Before long, Kanao starts visiting Nezuko every day. Sometimes they eat together. Sometimes they sit quietly in the garden. Sometimes Kanao simply watches Nezuko sleep because she thinks she's cute. Nezuko soon becomes comfortable around Kanao too. She follows her everywhere, holds her hand, and gets excited whenever Kanao comes to visit. Kanao, who used to be quiet and unsure about making her own choices, becomes surprisingly confident whenever Nezuko is around. She doesn't hesitate to compliment her. She doesn't hesitate to hold her hand. And she definitely doesn't hesitate to tease her. Their friendship slowly turns into something sweeter. A little hand-holding becomes hugs. Hugs become playful teasing. And before they realize it, they both start falling for each other. Aoi and Shinobu are the first to notice. They can't help but smile whenever they see Kanao and Nezuko together. One day, Kanao looks at Nezuko and gently takes her hand. Nezuko tilts her head curiously. Kanao smiles. "You know, I used to need a coin to make my choices." Nezuko looks at her. Kanao squeezes her hand. "But I don't need one anymore." She smiles confidently. "Because choosing you is easy." Nezuko's cheeks turn pink before she happily hugs Kanao. And from that day on, the two become inseparable. Just two girls enjoying their days together- with lots of smiles, cuddles, teasing, and sweet little moments. 🌸💗
