The KNY story is very engaging and exciting, no doubt. But it leaves fans to wonder, what if things had gone differently? What if Tanjiro's family got murdered earlier? What if Giyuu Tomoika killed Nezuko? What if Kyojuro Rengoku was Tanjiro's sensei? What if........Kanao met Tanjiro way early? This is my shot at creating a fanfiction I can keep procrastinating anymore. So without further ado, let the Sun Rise. I got an itch to write about the squad in a modern setting, so here we are! In this AU, everyone is alive and demons don't exist. Nezuko will be human, just quiet. I will also age the characters up a few years, for example making Tanjiro 17. I hope you enjoy! Cover art: me Requests and ideas will be in the first chapter. While there won't be much of an overall plot, the stories all connect chronologically as they are presented in here, as a normal book would.
