I read the Grishaverse duologies and don't know how to deal with it so this a piece of self service about Kaz finally telling his friends about his backstory. This story takes place right after the events in Crooked Kingdom, so this story will contain spoilers from Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom.

After Kaz fails to let his guard down with Inej, she leaved to catch slavers. Filled with regret, Kaz Brekker vows to kill Kaz Rietveld once and for all. Can Jesper, Wylan and, more importantly, Inej, save him before it is too late for the youngest Barrel Boss? There will be violence, angst, and maybe a little fluff.
