The living space, place just above Anteiku's cafe, quickly filled with its employees. Touka perched herself in the corner, attempting to wrap her head around classical literature. "Need some help?" Ken Kaneki approached, black hair daunting his head, a white eye patch shielding his right eye. He pulled up a wooden chair, ghosting his onyx eyes across her work, before watching her purple ones. "Uh, no, I'm sure I'll get it soon," She pulled herself back towards her notebook, placing her head in her hands, leaning her elbows on the wood of the table. "I could help still?" He continued his forward stare, sympathy glossing over his face. Touka's brow furrowed, before letting out a defeated sigh.

Kaneki somehow gets roped up into the Kira case. He tries to prove that he is innocent but it is hard when you are a ghoul hybrid and the crime evidence keeps coming back to you. [A rewrite of Tokyo Note]

Kaneki was out walking back home to his pregnant wife and daughter when out of nowhere, a weird man with a beard kidnaps him. When he wakes he finds himself in a strange place chained to the floor of a cage with children from 11-17 year olds watching him like a zoo animal. He just wants to go back to his family and friends again. Kaneki is not amused.

Kaneki has had lots of troubles dealing with Anxiety all his life and he's had many depression problems. he doesn't let it show because he doesn't want to be judged and ridiculed. Ayato has always dealt with depression, his family life was never okay, his sister took her own life and he was bullied as a child. He isolates himself so that he won't feel pain anymore. What will happen when these two meet? will they be each other's rocks? or will it lead to more pain.
