In a universe so vast, surely a single life makes no difference to the fate of the stars; gods that reside everlasting. But even one can change the course of order. A Kanera AU in which Kanan is still alive, because Disney did us dirty with that finale. "The nearer the dawn the darker the night"- Henry Wadsworth Longfellow Caleb Dume is preparing for the trials that will make him a Jedi Knight when he meets Hera Syndulla, one of the youngest-ever cadets to the Republic's peacekeeping Starfighter Corps. (No, this is NOT another "what if Order 66 never happened?" fic. It's actually more of a "What if Queen Amidala never called for a vote of No Confidence in Chancellor Valorum?" fic. While we can be certain that Palpatine would have continued with his- as I like to call it- sheevery, failing to manipulate the young Queen would have been a blow and a major setback to his nefarious machinations. Hera Syndulla travels to Dathomir alone for a simple op, and finds herself possessed. The Ghost Crew have to try to save her and save themselves from a possessed pilot out to kill them all, one who has the ship under her command.

This is a one-shot that fills in a little detail between seasons 2 and 3. I'd been thinking about it for awhile, and then I read "Leia: Princess of Alderaan", and got an idea of how to add some slightly more interesting detail to it. This little story delves a bit more into Kanan's blindness, and both his and Hera's reaction to it. Ezra, Sabine, Chopper and AP-5 also make appearances. It's not a particularly upbeat one-shot, but I imagine that the time between S2 and S3 was not a happy one for the crew. Spoilers for "Leia: Princess of Alderaan".

Fighting along side soldiers and building a family was not what Kanan and Hera established. But now, their biggest challenge is keeping everyone safe, but that may mean losing each other. [major character death]

Hey my little Devils! This will be a Kanera story. For those who don't know Kanera, it's Kanan and Hera. I ship them so much and it's so obvious that they love each other. This is about the first kiss they have. But what caused this to come up? Jealously? Anger? Life and death? Who else just wants these two to kiss already?

Hera keeps constantly having nightmares and she won't tell anyone anything about them. But when Kanan sees how much her sleep is affected by them he tries to calm her down.

I promise to research for each and every single reference. Things don't really go according to plan, and they end up stuck and in the need for help. Kanan's biggest fear is losing Hera. He is determined to get his wife out of the imperial building safely. Just some random one shots and what ifs in Star wars, from every era. (Yes I drew the cover myself)

Based on Star Wars Rebels S2 episode "Protector of Concord Dawn". I filled in some detail I felt was lacking in the episode (for the record, I think the SWR crew does an incredible job with the amount of time they have to tell a story). Kanan's just a little too nonchalant about what happens to Hera, and I wanted to figure out how they got her out of her ship. Also added a scene for you Kanera fans.

Life's being good to Ezra for a change. his son, Aiden, has just been born. He's found his mother and new to him, younger sister. Kanan and Hera had their son, Jacen. Life's good, to say the least. But they can feel the darkness encroaching on them. Ezra won't allow it to grow near his family and their newfound happiness. This is the sequel to imbalanced. The story won't make much sense if you haven't read that. So if you want to read this one I'd recommend reading that first. So it comes recommend to give that one a look over first.
