What happens when two half ghouls meet?

A Kaneki x Reader fanfiction. (Y/n) is a half-ghoul and has wondered for the longest time if there was anyone else out in the world who was like her. She fatefully meets Kaneki Ken at Anteiku, and when she finds out he's a half-ghoul too, she finds herself thinking about him quite a lot? So does Kaneki, though. And, there's nostalgia when they're together. Had they ever hung out with other people the way they hang out now? While they deepen their relationship as days pass by, a series of events happen. Yep, the life of a ghoul, half or not, is not easy. ~~~~~~~~∆~~~~~~~~ I don't own Tokyo Ghoul nor it's charactes.

I look at her and study her features, a girl that held an apathetic gaze and sad eyes.

Being targeted by two dangerous ghouls (made up ghouls), (Y/n) (L/n) a 9 year old girl who lost her parents due to said ghouls who attacked them, is forced to live as a foster child who soon runs away to live in the shadows to try keep a low profile in hopes of not being found. For eight years she was able to keep a low profile, living by herself and moving from place to place, after hearing that the ghouls that were hunting her were in the area.
