Tomone is the spirit of service; she lives in a world plagued with a corrupt government. When she saves the life of a man condemned to assassination by that government, Tomone is forced to run for her life (even though she is a spirit and therefore sacred). She flees to the only place where she might be safe: the house of Zeniba, in another world.

A young student by the name of Nakata has reoccurring dreams about a mysterious man with a mask. She tries to find him, but little does she know, he's closer than she thinks. Will include some Japanese with translations. The reason why it says that Kaonashi is voiced by a woman is a little bit of foreshadowing.
