Heartbroken from the event, Kousei Arima forces himself to move on from the blonde headed girl who had previously stolen his heart. After Kousei kun's first love , Kaori Miyazono dies in April , he keeps playing the piano and he's still friends with Tsubaki and Watari but he misses Kaori so much. One day he meets a girl that resembles Kaori. But he's afraid to get too close to her because of what happened with Kaori. Will he open up to this new girl or will he keep his walls up?

One Lie. One Love. One Chance. Well, technically they get two chances now. Kaori survives her surgery and everything is all and well. Or at least that's what both our main characters think. Neither of them understands love yet and experiences the growing pains of it. A sad story about not wanting to hurt the other, thus distancing themselves. Follow the tragic story of Arima Kousei and Miyazono Kaori as they learn about themselves and each other. Thank you for a fan fiction 8 years in the making. This fiction revolves around the original plot of Shigatsu Wa Kimi no Uso/Your Lie in April including characters. None of these belong to me. Hope you enjoy it!

As the title suggests, this is going to be a complete revision of my original Your Lie in April fanfiction. There will be some changes but it'll probably be limited to the way the story was structured originally and the likes. For the sake of my sanity, I will be trying not to get too dark but scenes that you remember will remain. I just won't write many new, darker scenes if I do not deem them necessary to the story's advancement! Anyways, if you're still around, I hope you enjoy.

Kousei's life has become monotone, his thrashing inner turmoil has haunted him ever since his brother died, among other tragedies. A dull black and white world is all he sees all around him, that is until he met her. She is the vibrant gem within the darkness who pulls him into the light.

*CONTAINS SPOILERS* What would have happened if Kaori hadn't died? Would she continue playing with Kousei? Would they quit music and pursue something else? Would they continue their friendship or grow to something more than just friends? The exciting adventure of beginning their lives as young adults has begun. What will they make of it?

The stage calls upon us, who can forget this view? ~ Arima Kousei's world was turned upside down when he met the girl who changed his life, Miyazono Kaori. His once monotone world started to show color once again, but not for very long. When she's sent to hospital, Kousei's world begins to go on even more topsy turvy turns, ruining his life. But then, someone leaves two children on the doorstep of the Arima/Miyazono Bakery and Orphanage. As Kousei becomes more isolated for health reasons, Kaori, Tsubaki and Watari grow up eye-poking, face slapping, and head-clunking their way towards their teenage life. Now, the bumbling trio of Kaori, Tsubaki, Watari, all pure of heart and dim of wit, find themselves on a madcap mission to save their bakery and orphanage from foreclosure. Can the Three Nerima Stooges survive the real world, raise the money and save the day? Why, soitenly! "They're so bad at being bad..... but so much worse at being GOOD!" ----- NOTE: This fic is meant to tell what would happen if Your Lie in April were more comedic (it's an Alternate Universe fic), and is based on the 2012 film adaptation of The Three Stooges (yes, I am aware Your Lie in April is a sad story, but this idea just came to me one day). Don't take this fic too seriously (and no rude/degrading comments about it), just have fun while reading it! It is also meant to be read as a theatrical film. It has been a couple of months since the death of Kaori Miyazono. Kousei Arima has been accepted in an overseas academy, forcing him to leave those close to him. On his new musical adventure, he encounters a joyful girl, who reminds him of Kaori; bringing back painful yet enjoyable memories.

Kousei is trying to cope after Kaori's death but is scared of being alone again. As Kaori's words and memories ring in his head, will he keep falling into darkness? When Kousei sees Kaori's ghost numerous times, he tries to understand how she's alive and his purpose all over again.

All of his life, Kousei Arima was a boy that was just about automatic as you could get when playing the piano. Then, one day, a free-spirited violinist comes into her life...... ....but then, Kousei finds out his fate may be in jeopardy. What will become of Kaori? Tsubaki? Watari? And most importantly, Kousei's rivals? Will Kousei be able to express his feelings towards Kaori, and can she save Kousei from his hell before it is too late? ----- As you can tell, this is an alternate retelling of Your Lie in April. But the fates have been reversed (and before you ask, Kousei is the ill one, not Kaori, who is far from that in this story), which will make for quite a gripping, if not heart-wrenching story, maybe more so than the original. NOTE: This is a longer, extended version of my original HLiA fanfic I wrote back in 2019. ----- "I met the girl under full-bloomed cherry blossoms, and my fate has begun to change..... .....but my fate may now be in jeopardy." ----- (BTW, the Japanese title substitutes one kanji for another. "Kimi" becomes "Kare".)
