One Lie. One Love. One Chance. Well, technically they get two chances now. Kaori survives her surgery and everything is all and well. Or at least that's what both our main characters think. Neither of them understands love yet and experiences the growing pains of it. A sad story about not wanting to hurt the other, thus distancing themselves. Follow the tragic story of Arima Kousei and Miyazono Kaori as they learn about themselves and each other. Thank you for a fan fiction 8 years in the making. This fiction revolves around the original plot of Shigatsu Wa Kimi no Uso/Your Lie in April including characters. None of these belong to me. Hope you enjoy it!

A short story taking place within the world of Your Lie in April, where a young piano prodigy, Kousei Arima could no longer hear the notes of his own making after a dreadful life hurdle. Until, Kaori Miyazono, a bright and influential individual that brought colour to his life all through a lie.

The tragedy that was the death of Kaori Miyazono's death. She was tempestuous, and capricious, I couldn't read her, but this girl, she's beautiful, and she was my first love. It haunts me. I remember playing that piece, Chopin's Ballade No. 1 In G Minor, Op. 23, his loneliest piece. I remember hitting the flats and the sharps, I remember all the slurs, I remember when she fulfilled her promise and appeared with her violin, joining. But I also remember when she stopped playing. When she looked at me, knowing she had to go. I remember when she played her last notes, then took her last breath. I remember. I remember the letter. I remember. She loves me. She told a lie, the lie, to get closer to me. I wasted the little time I had with her. But I still enjoyed it. But it was too short. It's been a year. But I haven't moved on. A Your Lie in April/Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (四月は君の嘘) short story where Arima Kousei, Emi Igawa and Takeshi Aiza met once again to watch a concert. While waiting for the event to start, Emi introduced a game called Piano Tiles 2 and they decided to have a battle to see who's the best at one Spring day.

All of his life, Kousei Arima was a boy that was just about automatic as you could get when playing the piano. Then, one day, a free-spirited violinist comes into her life...... ....but then, Kousei finds out his fate may be in jeopardy. What will become of Kaori? Tsubaki? Watari? And most importantly, Kousei's rivals? Will Kousei be able to express his feelings towards Kaori, and can she save Kousei from his hell before it is too late? ----- As you can tell, this is an alternate retelling of Your Lie in April. But the fates have been reversed (and before you ask, Kousei is the ill one, not Kaori, who is far from that in this story), which will make for quite a gripping, if not heart-wrenching story, maybe more so than the original. ----- Please note, I do not write fanfics often, but I feel this is a story the needs to be told.
