Here is an old poem written in filipino. It's rare for me to write filipino poems but this really struck with me since I found it on my old phone

Babasahin para po sa lahat ng mga Muslim at di-Muslim na Pilipino na nandirito sa Pilipinas at sa ibang lupalop ng daigdig. Ito po ay kaalaman para sa ating lahat na mga Pilipino, muslim man o kristyano kung paano ipinag lalaban ng mga ninuno nating mga muslim ang ating bansa laban sa mga mapang aping mga banyaga na gustong sakupin ang bansang Pilipinas. Dito natin makikita kung gano kalakas at paninindigan ang ating mga mahal na mga ninunong Muslim kung paano nila ipinag tanggol ang bansang Pilipinas. Kaya ito po ay mag bibigay leksyon para sa lahat ng mga Pilipino lalong lalo na sa mga nag mamaliit sa relihiyong Islam na sana mag bigay galang po tayo sa mga Muslim at sa lahat ng mga Pilipinong Bayani na nakipag laban noon para ipag tanggol ang ating bansa at ito nga ay nakamtan nating lahat ang ating kalayaan, at naipaglaban ang sariling atin, and lahing tunay at malayang Pilipino. Respeto lang at pag kakaisa ang kailangan para umangat ang ating bansang Pilipinas.
