Kelsey and April always are competing against each other and help out one another, but the next school year they have a class without the rest of the gang, so when everyone starts picking on April calling her a scardey cat cause of her fears of ghost and bugs, Kelsey decides to stick up for her. at that moment when Kelsey held out her hand, April felt heat rise to her face as her heart beats fast. " what's wrong with me, why when I held Kelsey's hand, why did my heart beat so fast?" "maybe you like her?" "what? no, me, like Kelsey? sure she's fun, hilarious, cool, athletic, an amazing friend, pretty...... uhhhhh...... what were we talking about again?"
