Kara Zor-el wasn't the only person to escape the destruction of Krypton. In another part of the planet that was tearing apart. The council members of Krypton were trying to find a way to escape. Unfortunately, there was not enough time to passenger everyone. The members of the House of EL had found a way to preserve their legacy. They would send their children away to another planet. A safe planet. Kara and Calvin, we're tasked with protecting Clark. Unfortunately, the plan to escape didn't quite go as planned. When Krypton exploded it thrust Calvin into Earth 2 And Kara's ship was sent into the Phantom Zone. It wasn't until later, that Calvin found a way to travel to the correct earth.
