Basically this is like the original movie except this character named Mia is in it & Ali doesn't exist...yet. Thomas "Tommy" Larusso, the older brother of Daniel Larusso, is a former brown belt in karate who moved all the way from Brooklyn, New York to Reseda, California with his brother and mom, looking to have a new life after their father had died and been evicted from their apartment. Upon moving, Daniel starts to make friends with a janitor named Mr. Miyagi while Tommy starts to get some good grades, but when a karate tournament is being held, Tommy drops out of school to help Miyagi mentor his younger brother, but does Daniel have the will and dedication to win the tournament?
