You are a shy girl who just moved from New York to California and joined a new a dojo named cobra Kai but the guy that you are interested in (Daniel) hates the dojo and thinks your as bad as the rest of the team.

Daniel Larusso moves to Reseda, & meets a girl named Mia who knows karate from her adopted guardian Miyagi. Miyagi & Mia teach Daniel karate while Daniel & Mia are falling in love. Basically this is like the original movie except this character named Mia is in it & Ali doesn't exist...yet.
