Dev, a teenager in his early 19s secretly sees his mother reading a diary and observes her facial expressions. After few reads, she gently would smile and before closing the diary would cry her heart out. Dev wanted to know what in the diary pricks his mother. He steals it and reads the diary. He finds that his father though married gave a special place in his heart to his childhood crush. Dev's parents' was a love marriage. The story revolves around the love that happened between Dev's parents and the reveal of his father's childhood crush makes their 20th wedding anniversary a blissful day.

Kabir Singh, was a doctor by profession but after breakup with lover Preeti ,he becomes alcoholic. He was so much in love with her that after being separated from her he just destroyed his life. All his friends tried to make him understand to not destroy his life but does he care? No Aradhya Mehra, a doctor by profession. She wants to live every moment of her life to the fullest. She is the soul of her family. She wants to take care of her family Will Aradhya help Kabir to move on from his past? Will she be able to complete the promise? What if while helping Kabir she falls deeply for him? Will Kabir return her feelings or keep loving Preeti forever?

This is a 2009 movie written by Rajkumar Hirani, co-written by Abhijat Joshi and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. These writers are responsible for the story, and I'm just translating and putting it here for those who maybe don't have access. I'm aware that some people don't speak Hindi, or they just simply prefer the books. So, for those who like reading, they can read this funny story. Film synopsis --> In college, Farhan and Raju form a great bond with Rancho due to his positive and refreshing outlook in life. Years later, a bet gives them a chance to look for their long-lost friend who's existence seems rather elusive.
