With the Flash out of action and the Legends unresponsive, Oliver knows there's only one more hero he can reach out to, even if Kara's in a different universe. Oliver Queen is desperate. An arrowverse story. This is set at the end of season 3 of supergirl, when the legends left. However, Reign ended up dying completely, which means Sam died as well. Therefore, Alex takes custody of Ruby. Kara isn't at her happiest, she feels lost. Ever since Mon-El left, she's been trying her best to be happier than before but no matter what, recovery takes time. Back on Earth-1 Oliver and Felicity didn't work out together and even though she's still on the team and they're still friends, Oliver needs a change of scenery. I do not own any of the characters

Kara notices when the stories about Oliver Queen don't quite match the man standing in front of her. There are inconsistencies she can't ignore. He's supposed to be scary, mysterious, rough around the edges. But that isn't what she sees. Instead, she sees a man who moves like he expects consequences. The way he takes hits meant for other people without hesitation. The way he carries tension like he's bracing for a world that hasn't given him much reason to relax. And Oliver notices her too. Not Supergirl, not the symbol, not the legend people talk about in headlines. He notices Kara Danvers. The part of her that lingers after the mission is over. The way she looks at people like she's already decided they matter. The way she notices him when no one else thinks to look twice. Neither of them name what it is at first. They just notice.

REWRITE With Prometheus taking everything he loved, Oliver Queen has no good options left. He refused to drag Kara into this and refused to let Chase anywhere near the one thing in his life that still felt whole. But with Barry gone and the Legends unreachable, the choice has been made for him.

(By the way I know the photo isn't 100% full but I only care about their faces and Kara's so I'm satisfied)
