A fluffy davekat fanfiction, full of adorableness and romance. Karkat is the new kid in school, who is a loner and a touch bipolar. He meets Dave, a cool and ironic bro who soon grows fond of his new nubby-horned friend. This is a story of happiness and of the trouble of teenage romance.

Dave and Karkat are over at John's for a sleepover and SHENANIGANS INSUE. SHENANAGINS I SAY. John and Karkat were pretty hard for me to write and Dave was easier because i talk the most like him irl. They act like big gay dorks and John acts like he doesn't want their gay in his house but secretly he's okay with it because Davekat is his otp. In which Dave is an overworked college student working at Starbucks, and falls in love with a patron who goes by the name Karkat Vantas.

High school is hard, being in high school while being antisocial is harder, Karkat Vantas, a 16 year old kid with mental health problems meets Dave Strider, a cool kid who's life seems perfect, Karkat realizes he has a crush on Dave, so does Strider. {HUMANSTUCK AU)

Dave is a transgender boy who just got out of a bad mental state. he moved schools so he wouldn't get misgandered but then his life turns around when he bumps into the not mentally stable karkat, who struggles with depression and anxiety. will Dave be able to help him? or will karkat be left to die? author- THIS IS HUMANSTUCK -this is my first time writing, sorry if it's sucky lol -I am not transgender myself although I'm around a lot of people who are. I feel that I've learned from them a lot about what it means to be transgender so I do believe that I'll be able to pull this off, but maybe not, anyway- art credit -ikimaru. I tried drawing something for the cover but I'm not confident enough in my art to do that. TRIGER WARNING- self harm -suicidal thoughts -anxiety attacks -gay slurs -strong language.
