Karl is inevitably losing his memory due to him not knowing how to control his time traveling, but what if after the fight with his fiancées he began to invest more time into learning how to control his time traveling since he doesn't have to worry about keeping up appearances anymore. ( hey MyaMyo here I know that I haven't finished or updated the other book but I really wanted to make a Karl book, I know that I should be focusing on the other book and I feel so guilty about it but I'll try to update, don't expect this one to be updated too often please and thank you) Canon AU with a few plot changes that change the entire thing completely.
