Coming from a long line of directors and movie producers, it is no surprise when Billie Clyde starts to follow the same path. It starts off small, with little jobs as the coffee fetcher on tight budget films, but after a few years, she gets a job as the assistant director for the new Star Trek movie alongside her family friend Jeffery Jones Abrams. Billie is thrilled, and bounces right into the job, eager to prove to her elders that she deserves to be there. But of course, there's going to be bumps in the road, no matter how many times you call the road pavers to come fix them up.
