Lieutenant Lillian "Lily" Walker grew up with Captain Jim Kirk. They've literally been best friends since birth. They attended the same schools and they lived right next door to each other. Whenever Jim decided to do something idiotic Lily was right behind him ready to go. So, naturally, when Christopher Pike convinced Jim to join Starfleet so did Lily. Now with Jim as Captain of the starship U.S.S. Enterprise and Lily as a lieutenant on board, space will never be the same. Things are going great until Lily starts having horrible nightmares that cause her to wake up every night screaming. Then Jim starts to realize how he really feels about Lily. At the same time with the order put out for Jim and the crew of the Enterprise to hunt down John Harrison, he can't find the right time to tell Lily. Leonard McCoy happens upon an understanding soul at Starfleet Academy and they become fast friends. When her technological prowess and their shared love of donuts come together, the two begin to see each other in a different light. On a mission to retrieve a file from an enemy planet, Kirk is imprisoned. While captured, Kirk realizes that not only is the planet not an ordinary planet, but they have a vendetta to destroy Star Fleet using him as their pawn along with all the other captured Star Fleet captains. That includes Kirk's father, who is still alive after all these years. (My idea for the 4th Star Trek).

I was inspired to do Star Trek oneshots where it was Bones and Chekov - the one I read included Kirk as well, so I thought I'd only do Bones and Chekov in order to not steal every bit of their idea. Credit does go to that person for the inspiration and I hope you guys enjoy!

I grew all my life with Jim Kirk and when he and I went to StarFleet I was suprised. He was a lazy type of person at home but not here. I never had dated anyone attractive or not but that changed when I met a certain doctor named Leonard McCoy.
