Karl Jacobs a regular boy meets a boy named dream, Dream slowly starts catching feelings for Karl , but the thing is dream is a vampire, one night Karl showed up to dreams house to surprise him, he just walked in because all the lights were and assumed dream wasn't home, as he walked in to dreams house he saw a dead body on the ground after Karl put two and two together he realized dream was a vampire but it was to late to run...

Karl was an avid fan of romantic tropes, more specifically: the red string of fate. Key word: was. His hopes were lost at the ripe age of 20, accepting the fact that the string might not be real, until he's met someone.
