In another galaxy, on a different planet, an alien race lives. They are the Matrions and their home planet is Matrix. They look exactly like the human race of Earth, but they are far from human. One Matrion becomes overly-intrigued with the human's customs and cultural diversity and convinces the rest of Matrix to finally take a specimen from Earth to study. Poor Scarlett is ripped away from her family and home in the middle of the night to be the start of an experiment.
