Instead of Katara attacking Hama she took secret lessons with her for days mastering blood bending Katara secretly loved blood bending but was scared to tell the rest of the gaang afraid they would call her a monster. (Before they ended the war, Aang is the Avatar, might not always update fast, i do not own avatar the last airbender, there is probaby going to be swearing.)

It's been at least three years since Suki met Katara. They've been friends since childhood. It only took one incident to split them apart. It hurt even more that Katara fell in love with Suki's brother Aang. This is the story of how the two fell in love. But even more, the story of how they finally talked about an incident that Suki and Katara chose to leave in the dust. Aang gets a lot of public attention. And he's tired of it. He always has all these girls throwing themselves at him just because he's the avatar. He wants true love; he doesn't want his heart broken like it was with Meng. Katara wants two things; she wants to be recognized as not just a healer, but a fighter. Of course she loves helping people and healing them, but being a healer just isn't her only calling. And second, she wants a real love. Maybe things will change for the both of them?
