Following the disastrous invasion of the fire nation, Aang and Katara have gone into hiding. Deep in the ruins of an ancient air temple they develop their bending skills - and their feelings for one another. Lost and confused, they must confide in each other to discover and master the most powerful element of all - love. Based on the show Avatar: The Last Airbender - I don't own these characters!

Sorry if isn't great (my first time writing a story) I haven't really planned it but let me know if you like it. The story takes place during there kiss at the Jasmine Dragon. It's cute trust me!

This is a rewriting of The Cross Roads of Destiny and Beyond with Kataang and a somewhat different plot.

One day Aang eavesdrops to a conversation of monks talking about separating him from his guardian and his best friend who is his little 9-year-old brother. After a discussion with himself, Aang decides to run away from the Southern Air Temple with his brother. But little do they know that they will wake up for the first time in a century to see a life literally collapsed.

Aang has been missing for years. 10 to be exact, ever since he was 14. No one on earth knows how his best friend, Katara, had been able to handle it all this time without him. No one. Because they used to do everything together- they practically had the same life. Before he disappeared, he told her he loved her. She never got to say it back. And she can't stop blaming herself. So what happens when one day, Katara, a dance major, is dancing in her garage, and all of a sudden she hears clapping? She turns around and finds him. And all of a sudden, she can't breathe. She can't think. All she can do is watch him looking at her, smiling and clapping. What does she do? "Can you come help me?" "AANG!" "I love you, Katara." "No... No way! My Aang is dead!" "I know everything about you." "Katara, Aang died. We went to his funeral. You buried him!" "I know he's alive." "We have to get to the bottom of this." "I love you."

They will do anything to get in power, and the people hate it, the people hate them. A new generation of royals swear they will be better, put their people first, they even agreed to an arranged marriage for the sake of the people, but when people start disappearing, they realize no one trusts them anymore. After war threats by the Northern Water Tribe, Zuko and Katara are in a situation where they'll have to get married for political reasons. It was then Katara's turn to stare up at the fiery sky, the multitude of clouds glowing in red and orange glory. "Aang," she murmured, his name falling from her lips like a prayer. "Please."
