Katalina and Will have been best friends since kindergarten. However, in middle school, the insecure and quiet Kat and outgoing Will start to grow apart. Despite being humilated and teased by his friends, Kat still considers Will to be her best friend. And, when he moves away, he takes a part of her with him. Fast forward to senior year of high school. Now going by Lina, she's reinvented herself. Her parents had a messy divorce, her only sibling went to college, and she's become more outspoken and independent. She can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel known as college. Then, Will moves back to town for his senior year. Now that Lina's a different person, can she forgive Will for standing by and letting her be bullied. A more important question, will Lina ever get her missing piece back?
